Every invoice you send can carry a pay link. The client taps it and pays by card or US bank transfer, and the money lands straight in your own Stripe. Workeey keeps a running total of who owes you and who's paid, so you always know where you stand.
When you set up payments in Workeey, you connect your own Stripe account. Not ours. The money from a paid invoice lands in your Stripe balance and pays out to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Workeey never sits in the middle holding your cash. You keep the account, you keep the payouts, and you can open Stripe itself any time you want to check a charge.
Setup is a one-time thing. Tap connect, sign in to Stripe or make an account, and you're done. After that, every invoice you send can carry a pay link with no extra steps. If you already run a Stripe account for something else, connect that same one. Nothing about your existing payouts changes — Workeey just starts adding your Workeey invoices to the same flow you already trust.
Send an invoice by email and the client gets a button. They tap it, they see what they owe, and they pay right there on their phone. No app to download, no account to make on their end, no calling you back to read out a card number. The link is tied to that one invoice, so when it's paid it's marked paid — you don't have to match a payment to a job by hand.
Clients can pay two ways. Card — Visa, Mastercard, the usual — or US bank transfer, also called ACH, straight from their checking account. Card is instant and easy. Bank transfer costs you far less in fees, which matters on a big invoice. You don't have to choose for them; both show up on the pay page and the client picks whichever they like best.
Chasing money is the worst part of the job. Workeey keeps a running total of money owed and money paid so you always know where you stand without adding anything up in your head. Open the dashboard and the number is right there. An invoice that's gone past its due date shows as overdue, so the ones that need a nudge don't hide in the pile.
Every client has their own payment history too. Tap a client and you see what they've paid, what's still open, and when each payment came in. That's handy for a regular you bill every month, and it's handy the day someone swears they already paid you — you can see the truth in a second instead of arguing about it over the phone.
Payments and reminders work together. Once a pay link is out, Workeey can send the client automatic reminder emails on a schedule until the invoice is paid or you turn them off. You set the tone once — friendly or firm — and let it run. Most invoices get paid faster when a polite nudge shows up on its own, and you never have to be the one to send the awkward 'just checking' message.
When the client finally pays, the reminders stop on their own. No leftover email going out after the money's in. The invoice flips to paid, the owed total drops, and the payment shows in that client's history. You get on with the next job instead of babysitting the last one's paperwork.
Yes. Workeey uses your Stripe so the money is yours from the start and pays out to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Connecting it is a one-time tap, and you can connect a Stripe account you already have.
Roughly 3% plus 30 cents for a card, and about 1% for a US bank transfer. Those are Stripe's processing fees. On a large job the bank-transfer route saves you real money.
Yes. The pay link opens on any phone with no app and no account needed. They tap, pick card or bank, and pay in a few seconds.
Yes. The pay link is tied to that one invoice, so when the client pays it flips to paid and the money-owed total updates automatically. You don't match anything by hand.
